Goodwille holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, a Master of Education from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgia State University.

He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania, and the Southern District of Texas, and he is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In addition, he is a certified compliance administrator, a trained mediator and arbitrator, and a former adjunct professor of Intellectual Property Law.
